The Islamic Republic of Iran’s army announced on Sunday that a reward equivalent to $30,000 will be offered for the killing or capturing of an “American aggressor,” with the amount doubled if conducted by a woman.
Iran’s army chief, Major General Amir Hatami, asserts that this was in response to a “large number of requests” to participate.
Hatami stated, “Anyone who kills or captures and hands over invading American military personnel will receive a reward equivalent to $30,000 or 5 billion tomans from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s army. … Courageous Iranian women who carry out such an action will receive double the reward.”
On February 28, 2026, the US and “Israel” bombed a school in Iran, murdering at least 165 young girls. The same day, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei was martyred, along with his 14-month-old granddaughter. The attacks on Iran have been widely condemned by the international community, and Iranians have rallied against the US regime.
Hatami also reiterated Iran’s call for the US to leave West Asia and made clear “they no longer have permission to enter the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman, or the Strait of Hormuz.”
US President Donald Trump has in recent days claimed that the US has “total control” and that “we own it.” However, the Wall Street Journal reports that “few ships are listening” to Trump’s claims, and “the waterway [is] too risky to cross.”
