It's funny how communists are okay with the invasion of free Tibet in the name of "liberating" it. The same justification has been used by imperialists throughout history, who ultimately end up subjecting the countries they claim to be liberating. Yet communists support imperialism and the subjugation of a country when it is carried out by a country aligned with their ideology.

It's also interesting how some communists brush off the persecution of the Uyghurs, the treatment of the region's native population, and the lack of human rights.

Hmm, let’s see what the people of Xizang are “suffering” from today after their peaceful liberation in 1953: peace, prosperity, stability, freedom from serfdom and slavery… You’re defending hell on earth. When the British, French, and other Western empires colonized the world, did those they colonized experience longer life expectancies, high literacy rates, and freedom from slavery? This is not about ideology, but material conditions. The lives of Tibetans were undoubtedly improved.

As for the Uyghurs, well, it’s clear you failed to read the article. You’re defending the terrorist movement ETIM, which has been sanctioned by the UN since 2002. Uyghur script appears on renminbi, their script appears on buildings in Xinjiang, the relevant governments have expanded their mosques, and as an Autonomous Region they have a very high degree of autonomy.
