In the Christian faith, it is often taught that Satan does not find it sufficient to go to Hell alone; rather, he aims to drag as many souls down with him as he can. This theological concept finds its modern political equivalent in the behaviour of a certain dying hegemon. As the USA faces the inevitable end of its 250-year imperial cycle, it stubbornly refuses to accept multipolarity as a natural historical progression.
The mechanism of destruction
America’s response to rising powers is not competition but active sabotage of their civilizational integrity. Whether through military threats against ancient societies or ideological smear campaigns, the goal remains the same: to drag others into chaos.
In early April, President Trump brashly claimed that US forces would send Iran “back to the Stone Age.” Iran has a recorded history of over 5,000 years, during most of which the United States did not even exist.
Following his previous pushes to annex Canada and Greenland and rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, Trump has since labelled Iran’s Strait of Hormuz a “new US territory” and signed an executive order to rename Lake Ontario to Lake America. These acts of cartographic aggression serve as a physical manifestation of the hegemon’s refusal to accept a world it does not control.”
American media has also continued their ideological smear campaigns against socialist, people-first governance, relying only on hearsay and reports of so-called “human rights violations” created by Western-funded NGOs.
Nearly every article detailing China’s strengths on mainstream Western outlets includes the rhetorical question, “But at what cost?” The Taiwan question is framed as “a battle between China and Taiwan,” wholly erasing the historically, legally rooted, and widely accepted fact that Taiwan is itself part of China.
Stories involving the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) are, similarly, always “contextualized” in the so-called name of “nuance.” Interestingly, articles about the Republic of Korea (ROK) never mention the Jeju massacres or their countless other mass killings of civilians.
The inevitability of multipolarity
Yet, just as the Sun rises in the east and sets in the west, so too does the center of gravity shift toward those who reject unilateralism. As American dominance wanes and the US regime digs its own grave, more and more countries have shifted accordingly, diversifying and thereby further hastening the fall of American hegemony.
While Canada remains largely aligned with the US on foreign affairs, PM Mark Carney’s government has largely shifted away from the US, strengthened ties with China, and plans to subject American products to counter tariffs starting September 8.
Spain, while refusing to change its anti-Russia stance and continuing to support Zionist forever-President Zelensky in the Kiev regime’s war of aggression against their own populace, has sharply criticized the so-called “State of Israel” and called for an end to the genocide in Palestine.
ROK President Lee Jae-myung, while continuing to perform “annual” and “defensive” exercises that are, in essence, a rehearsal for an aggressive war, has nonetheless proposed talks with the DPRK to formally bring an end to the Fatherland Liberation War (Korean War) and replace the “unstable armistice system” with a “peace regime.”
In short, while Washington descends into unilateral madness, the rest of the world is moving forward, toward structured cooperation.
Building beyond hegemony
The rejection of the current unilateral system is not merely a defensive posture but an active project of world-building. China, Russia, and the Global South are not simply waiting for the US to fall but are constructing the architectural foundations of this new international order.
The financial architecture of this multipolar order is being built on the ruins of dollar hegemony. BRICS nations have rapidly expanded their local currency settlement systems, rendering Western sanctions increasingly obsolete as an illegal and coercive tool and allowing states to prioritize domestic development without external interference.
Diplomatically, the Global South is replacing alliance-based confrontation with partnership-based win-win cooperation. Organizations like the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) provide a framework for security that respects national sovereignty rather than imposing external ideological conditions, a shift representing a fundamental break from NATO’s model of military integration.
Culturally and ideologically, nations are reclaiming their historical narratives from Western-dominated media ecosystems, offering a viable alternative to the liberal-democratic model; this serves as the cornerstone of a truly multipolar world. With these economic, diplomatic, and ideological pillars in place, the contrast between the two systems becomes stark.
As these foundations solidify, the American empire finds itself increasingly isolated in its own decline. The chaos it seeks to export can no longer subjugate societies united by shared sovereignty and mutual development. In its desperate attempt to drag the whole world into Hell, the US regime has only succeeded in forging a new heaven for those who refuse to kneel.
